WHO ARE WE?

The Variegated is a home for designs created by graphic designer, Maddie. The team behind her is small, but mighty. Her partner, Nick and their whippet Vinnie, keep the show running smoothly behind the scenes. 

Inspiration for the brand is drawn from nature. From large mountain ranges to the small details in a leaf, in the colours, patterns, textures and light.

WHAT WE DO

We offer a range of graphic design services, from initial concepts to the final product. We love working with you on your events! Wedding stationery is our absolute favourite. but any event we love! We have a range of lifestyle and home wares currently in production and will be up on our store very soon. Where possible, we use sustainable practices and products so that we are minimising our impact on the landscape that influences us.

WHY VARIEGATED?

When naming our business, we wanted something that reflected Maddie as the designer of the brand. Maddie has early memories of collecting irregular gum leaves with her Mum in the Mallee where she grew up. The fascination with nature continues to this day. She can't go on a walk without pointing out an interesting leaf, rock or flower. She loves taking note of the nature around her, the way it changes with the light, seasons and location. Instead of taking the leaf with her now, you'll find the colours and textures of these leaves captured on her camera.
